Fundraising for Keech who have taken such good care of my son

My Story
Tommy's story.....
My sister and I are doing this sky dive for Keech and my son. He suffered a cardiac arrest at 4 months old and is now dealing with many conditions which Keech help with and care for him so well.
I had never met such caring and loving people until we went to Keech, it doesn't just effect the person it effects the whole family and Keech help everyone.
We are doing this jump so more families can be helped, and also to make everyone aware of how special they really are.
Amy's story.....
For those who don’t know our story,
In January 2022, at 4 months old, my Nephew suffered a cardiac arrest. As a result of this, he suffered extensive brain damage and is now has many special needs. The support my family and I have received from Keech has been a lifeline and we couldn’t be more thankful.
Tom has the opportunity to use their specially adapted pool which allows him more use of his legs. He attends regular play groups to help him to improve his sensory skills, as well as having the opportunity to use specialist equipment and respite care should we ever need it.
Without Charities like this, an already bleak time, would be much bleaker.
Therefore, my Brother and I are doing a Charity Sky Dive on the 10th of September to raise money, so that they are able to continue their amazing work.
I understand now is a hard time for everyone financially, so be assured, even the smallest of donations will be gratefully received.
Michael’s Story....
I am doing this for my nephew Tom who, as the others have said, stopped breathing and had a spontaneous cardiac arrest in January 2022.
Being there at the time and having to call the ambulance left me personally with a lot of trauma which Keech Hospice were able to support me with by providing counselling.
Tom being the little fighter that he is, has defied all the odds and is still with us, although he has been left with a major brain injury resulting in lots of complex needs. This has changed Tom’s life and the lives of all who are close to him.
They have been there for all of the family and offer things like the hydrotherapy pool which we are all able to enjoy with him-these moments are very special for us.
This skydive is for him and all the families that Keech support. Although I am nervous to jump out of a plane skydiving, I think about how strong and brave Tom has been and how far he’s come without the choice of any of this, however I do have a choice and would like to do this just for him and hopefully show that those traits run in the family. Any amount is appreciated-thank you!
